INSURANCE
We are out-of-network with insurance companies. This allows for us to offer increased access to care with little to no wait time to schedule a psychological evaluation, as well as quick report turn-around times. We understand the struggles that parents can face when the necessary supports for their child are delayed. A superbill can be provided to you upon request to submit for possible insurance reimbursement.
Please Note: Reimbursement amount depends on your particular insurance plan coverage (e.g., if your policy includes out-of-network benefits for psychological testing and assessment, whether or not you have met a certain deductible, etc.) Some clients may receive partial reimbursement, while others many not receive any. In addition, most insurance plans no longer cover educational testing. It is your responsibility to contact your insurance company to inquire about your out-of-network mental health coverage if you wish to seek possible reimbursement after services.
For all evaluations, a minimum of half of the total payment is due at the first testing session. The final payment is due before the written report is released and scheduling of the feedback session.
We accept checks (made payable to: Broadview Psychological Services, PLLC) and cash, as well as all major credit cards, FSA, and HSA.
FEES
At Broadview Psychological Services, we believe in investing the time and effort necessary to truly understand the unique and individual needs of your child. Together, we will tailor a specific evaluation plan to address the referral concerns of your child, as well as reveal both strengths and challenges, in order to arrive at an accurate diagnosis. Psychological evaluation and consultation rates are typically charged at $150-$170 per hour. Although each case varies, the estimated cost of a few of our most common assessments are indicated below:
(no behavioral/emotional testing)
*Supplementary behavior rating scales, added educational measures, as well as further assessment of functioning (such as adaptive behavior, visual motor skills, memory, etc.) will add $75-$150 to the evaluation costs, per measure and/or scale. Additional costs will apply for administration of the ADOS-2, as part of an autism evaluation.
Testing will not begin until we discuss and agree upon the estimated cost of the evaluation (which is often during our complimentary consultation phone call.)
The evaluation process includes an initial intake appointment with parents, 1-2 scheduled testing sessions, and administration of rating scales to parents, teacher, and/or the child. Information may also be obtained through observations, additional clinical interviews and review of academic records. After data gathering, scoring, and report writing is completed, a feedback session will be scheduled to review the psychological report, diagnosis (if applicable) and discuss recommendations and next steps.
Armed with knowledge and support, meaningful progress can be achieved!
